WHAT IS STROBING?
Strobing is a makeup technique that highlights the high planes of the face where light would naturally bounce off it. Unlike Kim Kardashian-style contouring which can look over the top or “done up”, strobing works beautifully in real life because it catches light as it reflects and bounces off your skin. Strobing should be the final step in your makeup, so it goes on top of all the other products you’re wearing.

HOW TO USE
USE 1: Mix Colors 1 and 2 of the Too Cool For School Art Class By Rodin Highlighter palette together. Apply them to your nose and forehead. Use Color 3 on your cheeks.

USE 2: Use each color separately to contour your face or hairline to create three-dimensional facial contours.

Did you know that you also need a low lighter to complete strobing makeup? This strobing palette features two highlighters in different shades, one in pearly shimmer, and another one in peachy shimmer, and a low lighter in pink shimmer. The two highlighters add illumination and pop desired features on your face, such as T-zone (bridge of nose connecting with forehead drawing T), just above brow bone, cupid’s bow. The lowlighter adds subtle vitality to the C-zone, which is around the cheek bone, to bring out facial contours with natural radiance. The low lighter can also be used as a eye shadow and blush to give uniformity to your strobing look.
